  • What is street step fitness?

    Street Step Fitness is the first of its kind, fusing the world of street dance and high intensity step fitness. Unlike typical step classes set to hip hop music, this unique fusion teaches you authentic street dance moves from various hip hop styles, while incorporating them into a powerful step workout. You’ll learn the names and origins of iconic moves, making it more than just a cardio session. It’s a proper dance workout that delivers a serious calorie burn. Whether you have no dance/step experience or you’re an expert, Street Step Fitness offers something for everyone. This dynamic fusion creates an experience that stands apart from any other dance or step fitness class!

  • what is your cancellation policy?

    If you cancel 4 hours or more before your scheduled class, you will not be charged, and the credit will be refunded to your account.

    If you cancel within 4 hours of your class, you will be charged a $15 cancellation fee.

    If you no-show for your scheduled class, you will forfeit the full credit of that class.

  • who can take street step fitness?

    Street Step Fitness is for everyone! If you're looking for a great workout and a mental challenge with fun choreography, this class is for you. Whether you're a beginner or more experienced, we encourage you to check out our Class Levels Guide to help determine which class is the best fit for you. We’re excited to see you in class!

  • What happens if i am going to be late?

    If you're going to be late, please call ahead to let us know so we can make the necessary arrangements. We understand things happen, but if you no-show without notifying us, you will forfeit the full credit of that class. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us run smoothly!

  • what do i bring?

    Please bring indoor running shoes, a water bottle, and a sweat towel (if desired). Most importantly, bring yourself ready to work up a good sweat!

  • how early should i arrive?

    You should aim to arrive 10-15 minutes before class starts. Steps are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so the earlier you arrive, the better your chances of getting the spot you want in the room.

  • how does scheduling work?

    Scheduling works by posting classes 2 weeks at a time. If you have a membership, you can book up to 2 weeks in advance. For those with a regular class pass or drop-in pass, you can book up to 1 week in advance.

  • how does the waitlist work?

    If a class is full and someone drops out, the first person on the waitlist will be notified via text or email that a spot has opened up. The waitlist creates a priority based on who signed up first. If you're next in line, you’ll get the spot!

  • What happens in class?

    In class, we start with a 6-8 minute dynamic warm-up and stretch to get your body ready for the workout ahead. Then, we move into the step fitness portion, where you'll learn a combination of movements that resemble choreography in a dance class, all while incorporating the step. Finally, we end with a 5-7 minute cooldown to help your body recover and stretch out any tight muscles.

  • can i bring a friend?

    Totally! Everyone is welcome! Certain memberships allow you to book for a guest using your credit. They also have the option to purchase a drop in, class pass, or membership!

  • how do i book a private or group session?

    To book a private, group session, or event, you can easily contact us through our website using the contact form, or you can email us directly at streetstepfitnessyeg@gmail.com. We’ll be happy to help you set up a session tailored to your needs!

  • what are the membership commitments?

    All memberships require a minimum 2-month commitment. After this period, your membership will recur automatically each month unless you cancel in advance by notifying us. Please note that once you commit to the initial 2-month period, it is non-refundable. Be sure to reach out to us if you need to cancel or have any questions about your membership!
